The Atwood Tool Library is now open to all Madison residents!

For $20.00 per year, members of the Atwood Tool Library will be able to check out seven tools per week during our operating hours. Tools will be due back one week (seven days) within two hours after opening or else late fees will be charged.

Before being allowed to borrow, you must read and sign the Atwood Tool Library Lending Policy Agreement, fill out and sign an application and waiver, and present acceptable proof of identity and a separate proof of residency. Proof of identity can be a drivers license, passport, or other government-issued identification with photo. Proof of residency can be a utility bill, mortgage statement, lease agreement, car-insurance or registration card, or similar document that shows a current Madison address.

In addition to a wide assortment of hand tools, members can check out a select number of electric power tools. For safety, liability, and environmental reasons, we will not lend out gas-powered tools or tools that contain or use hazardous materials.

Also, a membership covers those in your household over 18. It cannot be shared with friends or family outside of your household.
