Our website was constructed by some great volunteers in 2010 and 2011. We need a 2013 revamp.
With a few projects and some experience under our belts, it’s time to revamp our website. We’re looking for an individual or a team with web design and construction skills to share. Help us with our goal of polishing our website so that others can access the information they need to bolster the sustainability of their neighborhoods–and ours (e.g. through community solar projects like the one pictured here).
If you’d like to help boost the sustainability of the SASY neighborhood with your skills, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org today.
Our mission is to create models of sustainability for neighborhoods, starting with our own—the Schenk-Atwood-Starkweather-Yahara Neighborhood (SASY)–so that, together, neighborhood by neighborhood, we can build a sustainable Madison–without having to recreate the wheel every time. The picture above shows a group of people who bought solar panels for a SASY neighbor who will now pay them back with interest while enjoying MUCH lower energy bills. Together they are helping to reach our goal of becoming a carbon neutral neighborhood, one solar installation at a time.
