The first ever Madison SOUP is going to be held this Sunday, September 18th from 6-8pm at Sector67 at 2100 Winnebago St.

Let me tell you a little bit about a Madison SOUP event.
Once a date is picked, people who are interested in presenting at the event are asked to fill out a simple application form and submit it up to 1 week before the event. The top 2 or 3 projects with a common theme are chosen to present a 5 minute presentation the night of the event.
During an event attendees pay $10 for a homemade soup, salad, bread and drink meal as well as a voting ballot. While everyone is enjoying their meals 2 to 3 ideas are pitched to the group that would help the Madison community through art, other community events, or start up projects. After all the pitches everyone votes for their favorite idea and the project that receives the most votes receives all the profit money from the event.
At the next event the winners are to produce a short 5 minute presentation as to how they used the funds from the event towards their project as well as how far they’ve come on the project and how much they have yet to go to achieve their project goal.
Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event or through http://madisonsoup.eventbrite.com/ and we are maxing the attendance to 60 people.
Please use the contact information below if you have any questions or thoughts you would like me to address.
Thank you for your time,
